Samraga’s FUZE to Debut on April 26 With Live Concert by Papon

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD 22 APRIL 2025: After six successful editions of the Samraga Music Festival, known for bringing classical music maestros to Ahmedabad, Samraga is set to strike a new chord with the launch of FUZE, a dynamic platform where mainstream and contemporary music take centre stage.

FUZE is all set to debut with an electrifying live concert by none other than the soulful and melodious voice of Papon, on Saturday, April 26, at Karnavati Club, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Samraga as it ventures into curating a new-age musical experience for Amdavadis.

Papon, the acclaimed playback singer and composer from Assam, is known for blending folk traditions with modern sounds. He is the founder and lead vocalist of the folk-fusion band Papon and The East India Company. With notable Bollywood hits like Jiyein Kyun, Moh Moh Ke Dhaage, Bulleya, and Humnava, Papon’s music continues to resonate with diverse audiences across the country.

Speaking about the launch, Dhiren Borole, Director & Treasurer, Samraga, said, “With FUZE, we want to create a space where contemporary music finds its pulse in the heart of Ahmedabad. Launching it with an artist like Papon, who bridges tradition and modernity so beautifully, felt like the perfect beginning. FUZE is set to be the start of a musical movement in Ahmedabad.”

Since its inception in 2016, Samraga School of Arts and Music has been committed to promoting arts across genres, from performing to visual arts, by building meaningful connections between cultural heritage and today’s audiences. FUZE represents a bold extension of this mission, embracing contemporary expressions while staying rooted in artistic integrity.
