Gujarat, Ahmedabad | 20th July 2025 — The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline raised the bar for all installation events with a grand, emotion-filled celebration held at the opulent Peacock Hall, Taj Skyline. With over 300 attendees, including 50+ dignitaries from the Rotary fraternity, the event was hailed as a benchmark for creativity, execution, and Rotary spirit.
The highlight of the event was an extraordinary theatrical production portraying 120 years of Rotary International’s legacy, seamlessly interwoven with Skyline’s own spectacular journey — from just 20 members to over 390 in just 2.5 years, now proudly the 3rd largest Rotary Club in India.
The visionary behind this show was Project Chair Rtn. Rekha Kabra, who not only scripted and directed the entire production but also ensured every element — from storyline to execution — captured the essence of service, fellowship, and growth. Over 70+ members and their family members performed in the musical-dramatic showcase, drawing standing ovations and emotional applause.
Key Highlights:
• District Governor Rtn. Nigam Chaudhary installed the incoming team, including President Rtn. Jagenderr Gupta and Secretary Rtn. Vishal Shah, along with the full board for 2025–26.
• Assistant Governor Rtn. Wispec inducted over 80 new members, marking one of the largest single-day inductions in the district’s recent history.
• The event also witnessed the official installation of the Rotaract Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Stars, with President Arnav Khandelwal and Secretary Hetarth Kapadnekar taking charge of their vibrant team.
From mesmerizing visuals crafted by Malayraj to elite choreography by Mansi Modi, and a stunning venue transformation by Rtn. Shyamal Divetia, every detail resonated with excellence. Behind the scenes, Rtn. Saurabh Khandelwal handled seamless logistics, while Rtn. Fenil Joshi and Rtn. R.K. Rajput managed all licenses and compliances with precision. The hospitality and registration desk, led by Rtn. Jitendra Teelani, Rtn. Ashish Pandey, and Rtn. Nirav Mehta, earned praise for their flawless coordination and guest experience.
Secretary Rtn. Vishal Shah’s calm execution and emotional vote of thanks added a graceful close to an unforgettable evening. President Rtn. Jagenderr Gupta specially acknowledged Rtn. Divya for her constant presence and support behind the scenes.
Guests from across the district lauded the event, calling it “an unmatched Rotary experience” and “a perfect blend of impact, innovation, and inspiration.”
