Ahmedabad 28 December 2024 – The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline hosted a grand New Year’s cum Second Anniversary Celebration at Goyal Water Park, Kolat. Aptly themed “Sparkling Skyline: A Night to Illuminate,” the event was a glittering showcase of the club’s achievements, featuring music, dance, games, and entertainment for members and their families. With over 335 members, the club proudly announced its remarkable ascent to becoming the 5th largest Rotary Club in India, a feat achieved in just two years.
In an extraordinary journey, the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline has set itself apart with unprecedented milestones:
- In its first year, the club became the first to cross 200 members in Rotary District 3055, earning the title of the largest Rotary Club in Gujarat.
- In just two years, the club has become the 5th largest Rotary Club in India, outpacing long-established clubs, including the prestigious Rotary Club of Bangalore.
- The club is now ranked among the Top 25 Rotary Clubs worldwide, a testament to its vibrant and dedicated community.
A Vision for Global Leadership
Club President Rtn. Saurabh Khandelwal, who spearheaded this incredible growth, shared an ambitious vision: “We are honored to represent Ahmedabad and Gujarat on such a significant scale within Rotary International. Our journey from inception to becoming the 5th largest club in India has been nothing short of extraordinary. Now, we set our sights on joining the Top 10 clubs worldwide.
