Paras, Parimal and Elite Schools Celebrate Annual Day

Ahmedabad 30th December 2024: Paras Vidyalaya, Parimal Vidyalaya and Elite Public School came together to host their grand Annual Day 2024-25 on the theme of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family), featuring a series of wonderful performances by students, on Saturday.

Students from all three schools showcased their talents through an eclectic mix of performances, ranging from dance sequences to musical performances and plays. Each performance was met with generous applause from an audience that included parents, teachers and dignitaries. Students who scored excellent marks in grades X and XII were awarded with the cash prize of Rs. 51,000.

In a unique gesture, helpers and cleaning staff associated with the schools for many years were felicitated by Jagdish Vishwakarma, Minister of State for Cooperation, Government of Gujarat. The gesture showcased a perfect example of social harmony and equality.

In his address, Jagdish Vishwakarma appealed to all parents to instil the feeling of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” in their children. He emphasized the importance of educating children about the values of Indian culture and providing them with a deeper understanding of texts such as the Ramayana and the Mahabharata and the characters of these two epics. He further said that children should learn about the essence of Indian culture, who Lord Rama was, why the Mahabharata was written, and the reasons behind the creation of the Ramayana.

The minister stressed that failing to instill these values in children could result in society losing sight of the true essence of family in the future. He added that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah envision a unified India, it is everyone’s collective responsibility to contribute to the cause.

Chirag Shah, Managing Trustee of Paras, Parimal and Elite schools, said, “The Annual Day celebrations are an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and hard work. Students learn invaluable lessons about team work, discipline and self-confidence. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone for their enthusiastic participation.”

The event also featured a keynote address by noted motivational speaker Paras Pandhi. Gujarat State Yog Board Chairman Yogsevak Sheeshpal and other prominent guests graced the evening.
