AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 30th MARCH 2026 — A new leadership team has taken charge at BNI Prometheus, a leading chapter of BNI Ahmedabad and part of Business Network International (BNI).
Nishit Thakkar has been named President of BNI Prometheus, succeeding outgoing president Dr. Shilpa Parasrampuria. Shoyeb Saiyed has taken over as Vice President from Jay Shah, while Ruchir Shah is the new Secretary/Treasurer, succeeding Krutarth Jardosh. The new leadership team will serve a six-month term.
Commenting on his appointment, Nishit Thakkar said, “I thank the members for entrusting me with this responsibility. Our focus is on reigniting the fire of growth and connection, and making BNI Prometheus a place where members flawlessly sync, generously share and wholeheartedly serve for collective success. We are committed to building on the success of the previous leadership teams and elevating BNI Prometheus to even greater heights.”
The new leadership team has outlined key goals for the next six months, including conducting 3,700 one-to-one meetings and generating over 3,100 business referrals. The chapter is also targeting closed business of Rs. 50 crore during the period.
Increasing membership, creating networking opportunities, promoting knowledge-sharing and support business growth are central to the new leadership’s agenda. The chapter also plans to undertake social initiatives, including sponsoring a month of education for a child to mark each member’s birthday.
Planned activities over the next six months include a mega visitor day, charity event, Sufi night, blood donation camp and an international conclave.
Over 12 years old, BNI Prometheus is among the top BNI chapters in the region and has facilitated business worth more than Rs. 600 crore. It is poised to grow this figure significantly in the coming years. Its members represent diverse sectors, including engineering, travel, advertising, construction, financial services, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate, and food & beverage.
