To enable sellersadopt AI and scale their business, Amazon India has introduced new seller programs ahead of the festive season. These will support over 1.6 million Indian sellers with technological innovations and cost-saving measures.
Putting innovation at the core to help sellers, Amazon has launched a Gen AI tool that makes creating product pages up to 70% faster, simplified BxGy (Buy X Get Y)) promotions to just two clicks and a phase wise introduction of the Samriddhi Dashboard for strategic planning with historical data and inventory recommendations. Cost-saving initiatives include eliminating referral fees on over 1.2 crore products, reducing fees by up to 90% on multi-item orders, removing selling fees for products under ₹600 through the Bazaar Zero Fee Program, and offering subsidized fees for women-led artisan businesses through Karigar and Saheli programs. The company has also introduced growth tools like the Opportunity Explorer that uses customer demand data to identify promising new products, ultra-fast 3-Hour Delivery through hyperlocal partners, Amazon Shipping for SMBs across 14,000+ pin codes, and enhanced the Amazon Seller App to allow sellers to manage their entire business operationsincluding coupons, deals, sponsored product campaigns, and performance trackingseamlessly on the go.
In Gujarat, the company has one fulfillment center, two sort centers, over 100 delivery stations and a network of around 850 ‘I Have Space’ store partners to support faster deliveries and create local work opportunities.
