Ahmedabad 05th January 2025: The “Aabra Ka Dabra – Kids Carnival 1.0”, a superhero-themed extravaganza organised by the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, in collaboration with Unnati Story House, commenced on Saturday. The event combined entertainment and education, drawing an impressive crowd of more than 5,000 visitors on Saturday, with an even higher number expected on Sunday.
The carnival offers a one-of-a-kind experience with children and families enchanted by live superhero performances, engaging activities and creative displays. Premier schools from Ahmedabad are participating in the event, showcasing the talent and creativity of students.
A key highlight of the carnival is its support for the Hello Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign. The initiative aims to educate children about the dangers of substance abuse through an inter-school quiz competition, an anti-drug pledge and an educational video. Proceeds from the event will be utilised to expand the campaign, ensuring its message reaches more schools and communities.
Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline President Saurabh Khandelwal, said, “The Aabra Ka Dabra Kids Carnival is much more than entertainment. It was a movement to inspire a drug-free future. We are proud to have been able to combine a fun-filled theme with a critical social cause to create meaningful impact.”
The carnival features a variety of activities, including superhero shows, clown theatre, magic workshops, Zumba dance parties, a VR gaming zone, live science experiments and the thrilling “Kids Got Talent” finale. Families can also enjoy themed housie games, arts and crafts sessions, exciting rides, and a variety of food and product stalls.
Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline Secretary Ashish Pandey, said, “This event is a magical step towards creating a safe and healthy environment for our children. Realising the vision of a drug-free future requires collective efforts and we are thrilled to present this unique effort.”
Project Chair Shweta Gargiya, said, “The magic of superheroes combined with a meaningful purpose make this carnival truly special. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, partners, and visitors for making the first-ever Aabra Ka Dabra Kids Carnival a resounding success.”
