Grand Parade and the Unveiling of ‘Operation Sindoor – A Saga of Victory’ Mark BSF’s 60th Rising Day

NEW DELHI | 21st NOVEMBER 2025 — The Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated its 60th Rising Day with grandeur and patriotic fervour as Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah reviewed the ceremonial parade and honoured the valour and discipline of India’s frontline defenders. Later in Bhuj, during an exclusive Gala Dinner, BSF Director General Shri Daljit Singh Chaudhary unveiled the limited-edition coffee table book “Operation Sindoor – A Saga of Victory,” a comprehensive documentation of one of the most decisive coordinated responses along the India–Pakistan border. Covering the complete stretch from Kashmir to Gujarat, the book details BSF’s extraordinary operational achievements—from neutralizing thousands of hostile drones and missiles to the destruction of multiple enemy posts in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). It stands as a tribute to the courage, tactical brilliance, and unwavering commitment of BSF personnel.

The creation of this significant publication was guided by the visionary leadership of DG Shri Daljit Singh Chaudhary, with strategic direction from ADG Shri Satish Khandare. Rajasthan Frontier IG Shri M. L. Garg played a pivotal role by leading the frontline coordination, enabling access to sensitive operational documents, arranging ground visits, and providing real-time field insights that shaped the authenticity of the narrative. Jammu Frontier IG Shri Shashank Kumar extended crucial support by facilitating operational briefings from the northern border, allowing the documentation of high-intensity engagements with precise on-ground clarity.

The contributions of Assistant Sub Inspector Pappu Jat, Ftr HQ BSF Rajasthan and Sub Inspector Soniya Chaturvedi, Border Security Force were duly acknowledged as part of the overall support extended during the documentation process.

The book’s development team brought together expertise from multiple domains. Writer Ravi Bhatt played an indispensable role by transforming extensive field reports, confidential briefings, and operational case studies into a coherent, impactful, and emotionally powerful narrative. Graphic Communication Designer Shraddha Mojidra shaped the complete visual architecture of the book, ensuring dignity, precision, and an immersive visual experience. Digital Technology Lead Vision Raval managed the technical and digital execution, ensuring international standards of quality throughout the production pipeline.

At the helm of the entire project was Dr. Tejas Mojidra, who served as the Project Strategist and Research Lead. Dr. Mojidra coordinated across multiple BSF frontiers, facilitated the collection of sensitive operational data, verified information through ground-level interactions, and ensured alignment between operational truth and narrative representation. His project management brought together writers, designers, digital experts, and BSF authorities to successfully complete this national documentation effort.

Operation Sindoor – A Saga of Victory stands today not merely as a publication but as a historic testament to BSF’s unmatched courage, a tribute to India’s border warriors, and an enduring record for future generations.

Shri Amitbhai Shah also indicated that the coming year will witness many more celebrations, marking a continued series of significant BSF events throughout the year.
