Ahmedabad 24 January 2025: HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank by assets and market capitalisation, marked Republic Day with a Tiranga Yatra in Ahmedabad on Friday, celebrating the spirit of patriotism while raising awareness about digital and cyber frauds.

The Tiranga yatra began with the unfurling of the national flag at Relief Road and culminated at Asarwa after passing through different areas such as Gandhi Road, Khadia, Sumel Business Park, Sarangpur, Swaminarayan Temple and Shahibaug.

The yatra received enthusiastic participation from bank officials, customers and local residents, who distributed national flags and informational leaflets, spreading the dual message of national pride and emphasising the importance of secure digital banking practices.

The Tiranga Yatra was aimed at honouring the nation’s values while educating citizens about the need to stay vigilant against cyber frauds in today’s digital age. It was a unique way to celebrate Republic Day by combining national pride with financial education.

HDFC Bank’s efforts to promote digital security resonated with the crowd, making the yatra a resounding success. Similar Tiranga Yatras were also organised in Surat and Vadodara, which too received tremendous response from citizens.
