Dhruv Pandit Gets Key Responsibility in BJP Yuva Morcha

AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 21st OCTOBER 2026 | Dhruv Pandit from Gujarat has been appointed Central Office In-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The appointment was announced by BJYM President Hemang Joshi on October 20 as per the direction of BJP National President Nitin Nabin.

Dhruv, 28, is Gujarat’s youngest cybersecurity entrepreneur, and Founder and CEO of Drona Cyber Solutions. He has been actively involved with the BJP for several years. His elevation to a national-level position in BJYM follows his work with the organisation’s Gujarat unit, where he has served as Convenor of the IT and Social Media Cell since April 2026.

Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP leadership for the responsibility, Dhruv said he would work with dedication to advance the party’s vision and contribute to the country’s development.

“This responsibility is both an honour and a commitment to work harder for the party and the nation. I will make every effort to contribute to our leadership’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 by encouraging young people to participate in nation-building, embracing technology and innovation, and help build a stronger, more secure and developed India,” Pandit said.

Dhruv represented India at the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland. His professional expertise spans threat intelligence, cloud security, cyber defence, cybercrime investigation and surveillance techniques. He has worked with state and central investigative agencies on cases involving dark web activities, money laundering, narcotics, counter-terrorism and cyber-attacks. He has also trained law enforcement personnel in cybercrime investigation and regularly speaks at national and international forums on cybersecurity and emerging digital threats.

His appointment comes at a time when cybersecurity and digital resilience are assuming greater significance in national security, governance and economic development. Dhruv said he hoped to draw on his professional experience in carrying out his organisational responsibilities and engaging with young people.

“I see this responsibility as an opportunity to learn, serve and contribute. Alongside working towards the BJYM’s organisational goals, I will focus on motivating young people to develop their capabilities, use technology responsibly and play an active role in the nation’s progress,” he said.

Dhruv said he would strive to uphold the party’s ideals and strengthen its engagement with young people.
